Las Hermanas Sinfonier/ The Sinfonier Sisters

The other day talking about our future we came to this conclusion: Andres and I will be famous artists and Sergio and Ana would be our exclusive art gallery owners. Together we would form a team know as Sinfonier Sisters and we would become an icon. We will go always dressed in black, with a hat with veil and high-heeled shoes, first red and then we would change the color to create a tendency. The headlines would only talk about us, we would confess that the Duchess of Alba is our inspiration and we would buy a building at Porto, in the Plaza da Republica, and we would live together there.
Give us some years, who knows what we can do?

And the people come back from their holidays. Like Andres, who came back this Sunday and we all had dinner at Sergio's place, and like it was late (because we started a new pokemon addiction) we slept there. The three together, that was hotter than a desert in summer. I think that was the reason for us to have so strange dreams, I couldn't stop seeing cat doing break-dance, Sergio dreamed the song from the movie "Charlie and the chocolate factory" (we had seen it that morning) and Andres was dreaming about Abba and their song "Super Trouper". Mad as hatters, mad as hatters...

Semana Santa, o cómo Porto es invadida por españoles/Easter week, or how Porto is invaded by Spanish people

De momento he ayudado a :

We've already have some days of Easter week and this is full of Spanish people. You may not notice it on the street, but when you enter a metro station you can see how the panic and chaos as take control of the place.
People that doesn't understand how the card works, that doesn't now wich line to take, that doesn't realize that they have to validate the ticket...So, at the end, as the good Samaritan that I am (and that they get on my nerves because I see that they are doing it all wrong) I help them, I buy the Andante for them and explain them how it works.
For the moment I have helped:
-A married couple, she was from Briviesca, he was from Logroño, sorry I didn't get the details of their romance.
-A family of multiple members, and by multiple members I mean three married couples with their bunch of sons (one of them quite elder and good looking *wink, wink*)
-Four undergraduates from the middle part of Spain, who asked me if I am from Albacete (?) and how did I know how the metro works.
I sent everybody to the place they wanted (or at least I think so), and I have to admit that seeing the gratitude in their eyes made me feel good and proud of myself. I satisfy with anything...next time I will ask for a tip.

Sims-adictos/Sims-addicts

I'm starting to think that Sergio and I have a problem with the game. Oh my god, we are compulsive gamblers!

Cómo conocí a todo el mundo: Andrés y Ana/How I met everyone: Andres and Ana

I'm starting a new section in the blog, in wich I'll tell you how I met the people I know. And like I'm on my erasmus I'll start with them, that are the best I remember.

I arrived in Porto in the middle of September, and in the beginning's of October the "portuguese for dummies" learning course started. There was a lot of people there, but I saw a couple that were always laughing that I was interested to meet. Besides, I thought that I had seen the guy in my faculty, so we had something in common.
So, one day we were learning the was to introduce yourself in portuguese and in the paper appeared "Olá viva" (the bad translation in spanish would be "Hello alive"), and seeing the laughs of the couple I risked myself and said: "Olá viva is to difference the alive from the zombies when the Zombie Apocalypse arrives". Yes I know, I risked a lot, that's not a phrase you can tell to anybody and believe that they are not going to think that you are crazy, but after a second of shock Andres began to laugh and started to draw sketches of the zombie-alive meeting. Yes, Andrés is as crazy as I, or more, that's why he is so great. And Ana, what to say about our Ana, she was abducted by our madness vortex and started to be an essencial piece of my erasmus live, and I hope she will be part of my post-erasmus life too.

Spagat en el baño/Spagat in the bathroom

I was going to have a shower when, a huge puddle that the previous roommie has left, has frustrated my plans. I have slipped and fly trough the air just to end doing an spagat worthy of any gymnast. After a few seconds of shock (and realize that I was naked in the floor) I have stand up a little bit hurt for finishing having a bath.
But don't worry, I'm perfectly, only my proud is hurt.

Esta casa es una ruina: La cocina/ This house is a ruin: The kitchen

We have arrived to the kitchen. It's a big kitchen and with a door that goes to the well, wich allows a fast ventilation when we burn something. But it has some problems.

We will start with the mysterious hole that it's just beside the sink. There is a sunken tile and the only thing you can see inside of it is dust and darkness. I've started to think that it's a magic gateway wich takes you to a parallel world where the oranges control the humanity threatening them with leeks, but that it's just my idea.
Then we have an oven that hasn't been cleaned by any previous erasmus generation, and we are not going to be the ones that deprive the next guests of enjoying it.
And finally we have the mysterious case of disappearance of the kitchen towels. Despite we buy 2 or 3 every time we go to Ikea, we still can't find any of them when we want to dry something.

LAST MINUTE NEWS: Our sources have discovered that our friends from the first floor take sometime our towels "borrowed".

Primer baño en Matosinhos/First swim in Matosinhos

¡Y no me he quemado!

Yesterday, Cris, Ruben (Sergio's brother) and Enrique (Sergio's friend) came in a visit. So taking advantage of the good weather we decided to go this morning to the beach.
An awesome sun, a thin sand and a freaking cold water. It was so cold that I was the only one of us going into the Atlantic, the others, sons of the Mediterranean sea, waited for me at shore complaining about their frozen feet.
And I didn't get sunburn!

Tardes-noche de relax/Evenings-night of relax

Our dear friend Ana lives in Ramalde, that it's a part of Porto that is really far away. She is always overwhelmed with the timetables of the buses and subway, so the other day we decided to go to her house to a surprise pajamas party.
Yeah, we went there with our pajama, our pillow and chips for a movie night. You should see her face, she irradiated happiness as an uranium bar irradiates radioactivity. Besides it was a hot day, so we could play cards in her balcony.
And nobody slept in the floor! She has a lot of couches and armchairs, so comfortable, but who knows how slept the head from the chimney (right guys?).

Esta casa es una ruina: Los sofás comeculos/ This house is a ruin: The ass-eater couches

So we continue the visit to my home, this time I will talk about the living room. The living room is a spacious place, with white walls and wooden floor, and with a big window that lets the sun shine in the morning and lights the place. The only problem are the couches.
The big couch has a huge rip that you can feel in every position you sit. We tried to camouflage it with a white sheet, but even with that you can't stand more tan 10 minutes on it.
And then we have the armchairs, at first look they seem a comfortable place, but later you can feel how your ass touches the floor when you sit on it. We put 3 or 4 pillows to solve the problem, but after a while you can notice how the armchair is eating them.
I'm starting to think that they are alive and they hate us...

Emilio propone Estrella

This Saturday there was a flash-mob in Porto. We had to go to Aliados Avenue at 5 o'clock with a pillow and star a pillow-war.
We were fighting for an hour and a half (except Ana, she gave up just before a huge amount of people attacked her).
There was people really savage and we had to take an ibuprofen for the headache, but I haven't laugh so much in a while.

The legend of Aguilucho

I don't know if you knew it but there is a game called "The legend of Aguilucho". It tells the story of a hamster-boy called Aguilucho who, with the help of his fairy Albi, has to rescue the princess Anelda from his evil enemy Sergiondorf.
All this happens in the far country of Oportirule while he has his Erasmus scholarship ( if he doesn't rescue the princess the scholarship will be taken from him and he will have to return all the rupiees that they gave him).

Los regalos de mi cumpleaños/The presents from my birthday

Yes, I know, this entry it's a little bit late, but my life is really busy (and also I'm lazy because I have to translate it to english).
So, I had a really good birthday, and I will forget they put me a 34 instead a 24 in the birthday cake (you bastards).
They gave me some speakers (with a subwoofer and everything), this way we will hear something when we see movies at home. And I also had an special gift from the "sinfonier sisters" (another day I will tell you the story of that). Ladies and gentlemen, the gift for Alba:
