Moon River

Adoro "Desayuno con diamantes", adoro a Audrey tocando la guitarra en la ventana de su piso, adoro a George Peppard cayendo profundamente enamorado de ella poco a poco y sin remedio, adoro el anillo de premio que mandan grabar en Tiffany's, adoro el día que pasan juntos haciendo cosas que nunca han hecho, adoro el sofá-bañera, adoro que guarde el pintalabios y el perfume en el buzón, y adoro ese final bajo la lluvia.
Pero lo que más adoro de todo es el hecho de que me transporte, cada vez que pienso en ella, a aquellas noches en pijama con Maria y Sergio, en las que nos acurrucábamos en nuestro piso de la rua Santo Ildefonso y la veíamos sin cesar.

I love "Breakfast at Tiffany's", I love Audrey playing the guitar on her apartment's window, I love George Peppard falling deeply and hopelessly in love with her, I love the prize-ring that they take to Tiffany's to engrave, I love the day they spent doing the things they have never done, I love the bathtub-sofa, I love the fact she keeps her lipstick and perfume in the mailbox, and I love the end under the rain.
But most of all, I love that it transports me, every time I think of it, to those pijama's nights with Maria and Sergio in which we snuggled up in our apartment at rua Santo Ildefonso and watch it over and over again.
