Making-of: "Moto"

El año pasado tuve clase de Representación pictórica, también conocida como "la de la moto", porque el ejercicio final es pintar del natural una moto que tiene el profesor colocada en el aula desde hace más de 15 años. Cuando entré en primero de carrera jamás pensé que sería capaz de hacerla, era mi Everest (bueno, mi auténtico Everest es terminar la carrera, pero ya me entendéis...) y el resultado final ha sido uno de mis mejores cuadros.

Last year I had "Pictorial representation" subject , also known as "the one of the motorbike", because the last exercise is to paint from natural a motorbike that the teacher has got in the classroom for 15 years. When I was a freshman I never thought I would be capable of painting it, it was my Everest (well, my real Everest is to finish my degree, but you understand what I'm saying...) and the final result has been one of my best paintings.

Making-of: "Urko"

Segunda entrega de los making-of de mis cuadros, esta vez se trata de un retrato de mi sobrino. Teniendo en cuenta que siempre huyo de pintar carne (porque se me da fatal y me resulta francamente difícil) considero que me ha salido bastante bien (la ropa me ha quedado niquelada, que para eso es lo que mejor se me da).

Second part of my paintings' making-of, this time is a portrait of my nephew.
Having in mind that I always try not to paint flesh (because I suck at it and it's really difficult for me) I believe I've made a pretty good job (the clothes are perfect, but of course those are the best thing I do).
